My Story
I am a social entrepreneur and teacher dedicated to purpose-driven people and organizations. My professional life has been shaped by a desire to be involved in the community, a value instilled by my father. This foundation, combined with an entrepreneurial drive, has drawn me to leadership roles focused on opportunities that require rebuilding, fixing, or creating something new.
After more than 40 years in senior positions in the nonprofit world, I understand the unique challenges leaders face. Many nonprofit professionals struggle to raise the funds needed to achieve their mission. They often become frustrated by day-to-day work, losing sight of the broader strategic direction. Leadership roles in this sector can be isolating, and leaders frequently need a trusted sounding board when navigating complex board dynamics.
My approach is built on partnership. Clients have noted that I am not a traditional consultant who simply tells you what to do and leaves. Instead, I embed myself within the team, hold their hands, and stick with them until they are ready to stand on their own. Change and innovation emerge through engaging members of an organizational community and harnessing the power that comes when the right collaborators come together.operations and achieve sustainable growth.

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, I am channeling my identity as a teacher to build an international learning community. Our focus is on creating a genuine community for mission-based organizations and professionals so they can learn, gather together, and accelerate their careers and organizations.
I work with organizations across numerous areas, including Arts & Culture, Education, Environmental, Healthcare, Human Services, and LGBTQ+ organizations.
Cultural Foundation of Broward
The Cultural Foundation was created to strengthen the region’s arts and cultural sector. Our work focuses on helping artists and cultural organizations build greater visibility, resilience, and long-term sustainability through shared resources, professional development, collaboration, and philanthropic investment. As a co-founder, I help shape the Foundation as a platform for sector-wide capacity building and a catalyst for a more connected, innovative, and thriving cultural community.
